Check out this project... Backpack Tag & Card by Cindy Tobey Cindy says, “I love this masculine collection and knew it would be just perfect for my son’s backpack tag this school year. I used a clear badge holder (you can buy these at an office supply store) to protect the tag from wear and tear, lamination works great too. I combined two of the cards to create the front of the tag. I hand stitched the felt stars to the outside of the plastic badge holder. For the back of the tag I added a cute photo of my son – you could also add personal info here. I used the “Rock Star” card to decorate a special greeting card that I will sneak into my son’s pencil box, to wish him well on his first day of third grade. I added a pencil loop with some Fancy Pants ribbon so that I could attach a cool new mechanical pencil to the card – my son loves mechanical pencils – especially orange ones!”

Amy says, "To create my layered background, I cut some of the strips apart and stitched them down with my sewing machine. I then pulled up the edges of every other strip to add extra dimension. I also used one of the strips (the green Simply Delightful strip) as a ribbon of sorts, by cutting it in pieces, pleating it and trimming Vs in the ends."

Take a look at how design team member, Amy Peterman used the flocked transparency on her Little Grad layout. Amy trimmed the flocked transparency to the exact size of her layout—8.5 x 11— and adhered it to her background paper. She then trimmed around the flocked design of the remaining portion of the transparency and adhered it over one of her smaller photos.
